Introduction

Hi my name is Thad Martin. I am a health and physical education major. I want to be a teacher because I love working with kids and basically my whole family are teachers. They inspired me to enter the education department. Also, I like to stay fit and active and play sports such as basketball. Every summer I work at a recreation center with kids of all ages. I enjoy doing this because I love to enteract and have fun with the kids.

This summer was the first time I took an online class. I look Recreaction Management. The only part I liked about it was not having to physically go to class. Everything else about having an online class I did not like. I did not like it because it was like I was teaching myself and technology isn't my strong point as it is. Also, I did not like how if I had a problem I had to email the professor instead of being able quickly get an answer in person.

If this course was offered online I would still take it in class rather than online. I feel the class is already going to be a challenge for me so having to take it online would make it even harder.

One interesting fact about myself is that I sleep with a basketball. I have done this since I was young and used to do it every day. I don't do it every day now, but I feel I always sleep better when it's by myself. haha
